Why Are Packet Loss and Jitter Not Reported for our Immersive (IX) Systems?


I cannot see packet loss and jitter data for Immersive (IX) systems. Why?


The only network data exposed through an IX device's API is packets sent. Other data, including received packets, jitter and packet loss is not reported by the firmware. This is in contrast to other Cisco endpoints (for instance, those using the TC and CE firmware) that do expose this data via the API.

If you would like to actively monitor the quality of a call that is currently in progress, you can use the Quality link to get additional information regarding the call such as channel rate, packet loss, and jitter for your audio, video, and presentation channels.
