Why do I see an endpoint model in the wrong category?

Issue

When I am searching on models in my Endpoint Dataset in CPM Admin,  I see endpoints in wrong categories. In the example below,  I see a DX80 and IX5000 showing up in a category of Software.

Is there a way to fix this?

Solution

Yes there is a way to fix this.   If you are using our endpoint metadata tagging process (which uses an Endpoint_Metadata.csv file)  we do allow customer changes to override the defaults for the endpoint.  If you need further assistance,  please open a support ticket with us,  and we will be able to assist
