When I am searching on models in my Endpoint Dataset in CPM Admin, I see endpoints in wrong categories. In the example below, I see a DX80 and IX5000 showing up in a category of Software.
Is there a way to fix this?
Yes there is a way to fix this. If you are using our endpoint metadata tagging process (which uses an Endpoint_Metadata.csv file) we do allow customer changes to override the defaults for the endpoint. If you need further assistance, please open a support ticket with us, and we will be able to assist.
Exporting Endpoint Inventory Information

Exporting Endpoint Tags and Location Information
Question: Trying to export an entire endpoint inventory with endpoint tags and location information. Where do I find this information?
Answer: In order to get the endpoint tags and location information navigate to CPM Analytics -> Endpoints tab -> Managed endpoints. If these columns are not available by default, you can click edit and in the drop down you will find these fields. Add these fields and click save. Select the date range for which you are trying to generate this report and click 'share'.
You can also report on endpoints by custom location or endpoint tagging. To do this, you will need to navigate to the endpoint itself and add tags or location. To learn more about how to do this, please refer to our Reporting on endpoints by location / division article.
