When validating a CUCM, I get errors indicating that I must set CdrEnabled and CdrLogCallsWithZeroDurationFlag to True on nodes that do not perform call-processing. Why?

Answer

When these settings are queried on CUCM cluster via the API, the cluster responds for each node it contains - however the function of the node is not identified and requirement to make the settings cannot therefore be filtered. It is therefore necessary to make the changes cluster-wide in order to prevent other issues being masked.
